  • All camps have different timings. You can see all information on the relevant camp location pages.

Our standard holiday club activity day runs from 9am to 4pm. We have the option to extend your days: early drop off 8am / late pick up 6pm.

We kindly ask that parents collecting early do so during planned break times, so as not to interrupt the activities which are taking place. If you do need to collect during an activity, it might take a little longer for the doors to be opened for you as the team will be busy delivering the activities.

The fully extended activity day runs from 8am to 6pm. If you have booked an AM extension, you can drop your child off any time between 8am and 9am. If you have booked a PM extension, you can pick up any time between 4pm and 6pm.

We ask parents to collect promptly and by 6pm at the latest please. A late fee will be charged if children are collected after this time. See our Terms & Conditions for further details.

We operate a strict and secure drop off and collection system and it is necessary for a parent / guardian to disclose the password on collection.

  • There are always a minimum of two members of staff on duty at each camp, at all times. The legal Ofsted requirement for adult: children ratios are 1:30, however, we always endeavour to work to a ratio of 1:8 for children aged four to seven years and a maximum of 1:16 for children aged eight and over.

We do not allow any care that we provide to children aged eight to 11 years to adversely affect the care provided for children less than eight years of age.

  • Feel confident when dropping off your child daily, as they are in secure venues under qualified supervision.

Any child who falls ill on camp should be kept away for the entire duration of their illness and 24 hours after the symptoms have subsided.

  • Due to safeguarding procedures, we can not allow the use of electronic devices (phones or hand held games) with a camera.

  • Yes, as long as they’re about the same age as each other – usually within 18 months. Please note that some activities have a minimum safe age restriction, therefore we are only able to move 7 year olds up to the 8-9 years group if they will turn 8 on or before 31st August. We cannot move children who have not yet started Year 1 in school out of our Juniors Group due to Ofsted Regulations. If you have a specific request that falls outside of these arrangements, please contact us to discuss it further.

Friend requests should be made at the time of booking, or up to 14 days before Camp starts. Parents can add Friend Requests at the time of booking or by contacting us once you've made a booking. Due to the complex nature of Camp groupings, we cannot always guarantee friend requests, but we’ll do our best! Please note we group based on the age spread of children so please do not assume that children will be grouped together if they are the same age of school year. .

  • If you’re running late to collect your child, you can add Extended Day to your booking by calling us on 07842 732559. If you are later than the camp finishing time, we charge £10 for every fifteen minutes to cover the extra costs of having 2 members of staff staying late.

  • Certainly! Children aged 11 years and above have the autonomy to sign themselves in and out of the camp. Parents are required to send a letter with a handwritten signature via post or email to grant permission for their child to independently manage arrival and departure. This letter should include the child’s name, parent’s name, contact details, the morning arrival time, the designated sign-out time, the specific camp location, and the dates of attendance. In case the child hasn't returned home as expected, parents should promptly contact us.

  • Our various camps cater to different age groups. Please visit the different venue pages for information on this.

  • We understand that the first day at camp can be a bit intimidating for a child, but typically, they quickly settle in, forge new friendships, and become enthusiastic about the activities! Our seasoned staff is adept at welcoming newcomers, ensuring they feel at ease and self-assured within their group. Parents are encouraged to reach out to the Camp manager throughout the day to inquire about how their child is adapting and settling in.

  • We understand the unpredictability of British weather! We have a diverse and engaging wet weather plan in place to minimise any disruption to the schedule, ensuring that children continue to have a great time. While certain activities, such as archery, cannot be conducted indoors, we will make every effort to reschedule them later in the week.

  • Friends or family members authorised by you to pick up your child from camp are permitted to do so. We request that parents or family members collecting children say the password to verify their authorisation.

  • We acknowledge that entrusting your child to camp might be a bit overwhelming, but our team consists of experienced staff who specialise in welcoming new campers. Since most children attend solo, they are eager to make friends, creating a supportive community. Your child will be assigned a dedicated group leader for the week, providing you with an avenue to address any concerns. Additionally, you are welcome to contact the Camp Manager throughout the day for updates on your child's experience.

  • If your child is unwell, has a temperature, or has experienced vomiting, we kindly request that you refrain from bringing them to camp until they have fully recovered and have been free of symptoms for a minimum of 24 hours. We cannot issue credit notes or refunds.

  • Timetables are finalised a week before camp commences, taking into account late bookings, weather conditions, and fluctuations in the number of children attending. However, it's important to note that these timetables will not be available for public viewing on our website. Should you wish to access the timetable, please reach out to us, and we'll gladly email you a copy for your child's group at camp. Our sample timetables showcase real schedules from past seasons, providing an insight into the variety and types of activities children can anticipate.

  • Each day, children should bring a packed lunch and a water bottle. It's important to note that some children at camp may have nut allergies, so kindly refrain from including nuts or nut products in your child's packed lunch.

  • The group sizes depend on the age of the children:

For 4 to 5 year olds, groups consist of a maximum of 16 children with 1 instructor per 8 children. (Please note that children in Year 1 may be placed in the 6-7 year old age group.)

6 to 7 year olds are in groups with a maximum of 14 children and 1 instructor.

  • Each week, children at the camp are grouped based on their age to ensure they receive appropriate instruction and care while having the opportunity to make new friends. It's important to note that, although most camps accommodate children aged 4 to 14, the presence of children from every age group each day is not guaranteed. If you wish to check the age composition of a specific group closer to the camp's start, especially if your child falls at the youngest or oldest end of the age range, please contact us.

  • The cost of the camp includes all scheduled timetable activities, ensuring your child has the opportunity to experience each planned activity daily. The breadth of activities we provide is so extensive that covering all of them in a single day is impractical; however, most activities will be offered throughout the week. On rare occasions, we may need to alter an activity on the timetable due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, but we will make every effort to reschedule them promptly.

  • Activities available depend on specific location facilities. Please see the location pages for more detail.

  • For children needing extra support or one-on-one assistance at camp, we welcome the attendance of the child's term-time carer or support worker, provided we receive all pertinent safer recruitment checks, including references and an enhanced DBS check for the support worker. It is imperative that we receive the details of the support worker or carer at least 14 days prior to the child's first day at camp to allow sufficient time for the completion of all necessary checks. In the interest of all children's safety at camp, we reserve the right to deny entry if the vetting checks for the support worker are not completed. Please be aware that within our standard staffing ratios, we are unable to accommodate children requiring assistance with intimate or personal toileting care.

If a child requires additional support, and the parent or caregiver is unable to arrange this, we can assist by attempting to find a suitable staff member on the parent's behalf, provided we receive six weeks' notice before the booking.

  • Upon booking, we require comprehensive details about your child's medical conditions and prescribed medications to ensure their proper care during camp. Additional information may be requested prior to camp. The details provided at the time of booking will be made available to our on-site staff by the time you attend your first day. It is important to mention that we will only administer medication prescribed specifically for the child by a qualified health professional. Please ensure that all prescribed medications are within their expiry date. You can now conveniently update your child's medical information through your online account.

  • If your child requires an Epi-Pen at camp, we will request you to complete an additional information form regarding the allergy upon arrival. While we have qualified first aiders at camp, in adherence to Ofsted guidelines, on the first morning, we will kindly ask a medical professional (or you, if a medical professional is unavailable) to demonstrate the proper use of the Epi-Pen to our Camp Manager, your child's group leader, and our first aider. This ensures that both our staff and parents are completely at ease before the child's first day.

Please be aware that all prescribed medication must be within its expiry date. You can conveniently update your child's medical details through your online account.

  • We recognise that children have diverse needs, and we are committed to accommodating those with specific needs and/or medical conditions at our camps. As each child's requirements vary, discussions regarding the optimal ways to cater to individual children will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

It is the responsibility of parents/carers to notify us of any medical conditions, special educational needs, or disabilities during the booking process. Our Customer Support Team or SENCO will subsequently engage with the parent/carer to explore the best methods for accommodating their child and assess whether any reasonable adjustments are necessary to ensure the child's safe participation and enjoyment in activities within our standard staffing ratios for their age group.

Our standard staffing ratios are as follows:

    1:8 for 4 & 5 Year Olds

    1:14 for 6–7 Year Olds

    1:16 for 8–14 Year Olds

  • If your child has an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP), it is essential to inform us at the time of booking. For children requiring additional support or one-on-one assistance at camp, we welcome the attendance of the child's term-time carer or support worker. This is subject to us completing all necessary safer recruitment checks, including reference checks and an enhanced DBS check for the individual. The details of the support worker or carer must reach us at least 14 days before the child's first day at camp, allowing sufficient time for the completion of relevant checks. In the interest of all children's safety at camp, we reserve the right to deny entry if the vetting checks for the support worker are not in place. Please note, within our regular staffing ratios, we are unable to provide assistance for children requiring support with intimate or personal toileting care.

If your child needs additional support, and the parent or caregiver cannot arrange it, provided we receive six weeks' notice before the booking, we can assist by attempting to find a suitable staff member on the parent's behalf.
